“Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies”

 

1 box white or yellow cake mix

1 stick of butter or margarine, melted

1 egg

1 t. vanilla extract

1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips

 

Mix all ingredients together.  Put into refrigerator for 2 hours to firm dough, which makes it easier to handle.  Use a mini ice cream schoop for measurement, if you have one.

 

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet @350 deg. for about 8 minutes.  Watch carefully not to let them burn.  Take out of oven and let stand on cookie sheet for a couple of minutes.
