“My Favorite Fudge”

 

1 pkg. ( 8 squares ) Baker’s Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, divided

1 stick of butter

1/3 C. water

1 pkg. (4 serving size) chocolate instant pudding

4 C.  powdered sugar

 

Microwave 4 of the chocolate squares, 6 T. of butter and 1/3 C. water in a bowl on high for 2 minutes or until butter and chocolate is melted.  Stir.  Add dry pudding and stir until well blended.

 

Add powedered sugar and stir until well blended.  Press into foil-lined 8 x 8 inch pan.

 

Microwave remaining 4 squares of chocolate with 2 T. butter on high 1 ½  minutes or until all is melted.  Spread over pudding mixture and refrigerate until firm.  Lift out of pan and cut into appropriate squares.
