“My Favorite Pumpkin Pie Recipe”

 

1 deep dish pie crust

1 C. sugar

1 t. cinnamon

½ t. ground ginger

¼ t. ground nutmeg

1/8 t. ground cloves

½ t. salt

3 large eggs

1 – 15 oz. can pumpkin

1 – 12 oz. can evaporated milk.

 

Preheat oven to 425 deg.  Place pie shell on a heavy duty baking sheet.  Set aside.  Combine remaining ingredients and carefully pour into crust.  Bake @425 deg. for 15 min.  Reduce temperature to 350 deg. and bake for an additional 40- 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.  Serve with cool whip or ice cream.
