“Oh So Rich White Cookies”

2 sticks of butter, softened

1 C. oil

1 C. sugar

1 C. powdered

2 eggs

2 t. vanilla

1 t. baking soda

1 t. salt

1 t. cream of tartar

4 ½ C. flour

Mix all together and beat until light and fluffy. Roll into small balls and then roll into sugar. Press flat with bottom of floured glass and put onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake @350 deg. for 12 to 15 minters, watching carefully not to get brown.
