PIE PASTRY 1 ½ C. sifted
cake flour ¼ t. salt ½ C. lard or
shortening ¼ C. cold
water In a medium bowl,
combine flour and salt. Using a pastry
blender or a fork, cut in lard or shortening until the mixture resembles
crumbs. Add water and stir until
dough is just moistened. Form into a
ball. Makes 1 – 9
