Holding the line on taxes while maintaining our quality services!

Comparisons with other municipalities:

The Village of Howard’s rank among municipalities with a population of 15,000 to 30,000 in the state of Wisconsin:

      Equalized tax rate #1 (lowest)

      Tax Levy per Capita #1 (lowest)

 Net Basic Spending per Capita # 1 (lowest)          

  Net Police per Capita # 3 (3rd lowest)

 Net spending for Fire/Ambulance per Capita # 1 (lowest) .

 

As you know my political opponent has been using incomplete quotes and innuendo against me … leading to misleading “facts” about the ethics complaint opponents in the village filed against me to try to get YOU to vote me out of office.

It has taken a while, but Brown County D.A, John Zakowski has issued a formal opinion on the matter.

His conclusion: There is no violation of statues and no action from the D.A.’s office.

 The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board and the Wisconsin Attorney General’s Office concur with his findings.
